Dr. Sirich's research focuses on uremic solutes and dialysis. She conduct studies investigating ways to reduce plasma levels of uremic solutes, the contribution of uremic solutes to illness, solute depletion by dialysis, and dialysis kinetics. Studies are complemented by the use of mass spectrometry to identify and quantify solutes.
